A Wikipedian since 2004, Sarah Stierch is leading the fight in closing the gender gap within Wikipedia and related websites by assisting others in “minding the (gender) gap” in Wikipedia and developing programming for the Wikimedia Foundation as a Community Fellow. Stierch is also a curator by heart, with her Master’s in Museum Studies from George Washington University. She utilizes her curatorial and art history background to explore how open source communities like Wikipedia can work with cultural institutions to improve content.
