Marianne Decoster -Taivalkoski (Finland)
Marianne Decoster-Taivalkoski (born in France in 1969) is based in Helsinki where she graduated from the Media Lab of the University of Art and Design Helsinki in fall 2003. She has been developing her project Aquatic as a research and an art production since fall 2001. She has done research on the realisation of new type of sensorial spaces using digital technologies that reacts to viewer/visitors bodily movements and aim at creating a poetic and multisensorial experiences. Her background in the fields of cinema and modern mime appears in her conception of the audience and its possible roles, of narrative, and of the expression of bodily presence. Experience also in the field of project management and production.
