Entre espaces virtuels, architecture “ex-dimensionnelle”, dispositifs spatiaux tournés vers le partage des savoirs, l’installation Electroscape 004 apparaît comme une installation particulière: architecture ou “living room” pour un dialogue sans fin entre deux intelligences artificielles, elle se passe (presque) de regardeur, possède sa vie autonome et positionne “l’utilisateur” en marge, sans développer d’interaction apparente avec lui.

Implantées dans deux consoles de jeux standards, ces intelligences artificielles (elles-même standards et dont l’intelligence reste toutefois très relative…) développent une spatialité qui leur est propre. Celle-ci est définie par leur point de vue unique sur l’environnement, au moyen d’un tracking vidéo lié à une caméra de surveillance et par l’illumination des socles sur lesquelles elles sont posées.

Between virtual spaces, « ex-dimensional » architecture, space devices turned to the sharing of knowledge, the installation Electroscape 004 appears as a particular installation : architecture or « living-room » for an endless dialogue between two artificial intelligent beeings, it goes (almost) without the spectator, has its autonomous life and places the « user » beside, without developping a visible interaction with him.

These artificial intelligences, established in two standard game consoles (beeing also standard, the intelligences stay relative as well…), develop an own spatiality. It’s defined by its unique point of view on the environment by means of a video tracking bound to a surveillance camera and by the illumination of the bases on which they are met.
